Candice was born on the beautiful twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, where she grew up with her grandmother Melvina, mum Patricia, and two sisters Michelle and Rhonda. They all fostered in her the passion for reading, buying her books that she wanted and some that she hadn’t known she needed.

From a boy who flew and crowed and fought pirates, to a group of kids who came together to fight a scary clown, Candice has traversed many worlds created by many wonderful authors.

She lives in Canada with her husband Jason, where she has spent countless hours standing at the kitchen counter writing stories. Jason thinks everything she writes is amazing 🙂
